Carnivore are a hardcore band from New York formed in 1983. The band was only around for a few short years. In that time, they released two albums, a self-titled in 1985 and its follow up Retaliation in 1987. The songs were hard and the lyrics satirical. They broke up shortly after its release, with members going on to form Type O Negative which continued a similar trajectory. Carnivore would reunite several times for stints, and is even active today with a Peter Steele-less lineup. This original Carnivore long sleeve, with light fading and signs of wear, is from the late 90s.
